French luxury goods conglomerate LVMH is busily preparing to open a new factory in Tuscany, Italy in response to the demand created by the relaunch of Louis Vuitton’s footwear line. The new production centre will be dedicated exclusively to the creation of men’s shoes.

Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi was on hand to open the Pitti Uomo trade show. Pitti Uomo, the worlds defining menswear trade show, fills a 59,000 square meter exhibition space with everything imaginable in the menswear fashion universe. American cosmetic giant Maybelline has announced that 33 year old Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima will return to work with the company, becoming the face of its summer campaign across print and television media. The model and Victoria's Secret Angel had previously been the face of Maybelline from 2003 to 2009.
