Variety magazine’s Women of Power annual luncheon was held in Los Angeles, with several of the greatest female stars in Hollywood in attendance. Eva Longoria, Viola Davis, Reese Witherspoon, Jane Fonda, Lizzy Caplan, Allison Janney, Jessica Capshaw, Chrissy Teigen and Nikki Reed were among the guests, with honoree Jennifer Lopez arriving in a red, patterned mini-dress.

The ALMA Awards, now in its 15th year, an annual ceremony that recognizes achievements by American Latinos in the entertainment industry, proved to be a glamorous affair bringing out stars such as the very pregnant Zoe Saldana, Aubrey Plaza, Eva Longoria, Wilmer Valderrama, Gina Rodriguez, Andrea Navedo, Robert Rodriguez, Ana Ortiz and a very excited Terry Crews onto the red carpet.

Celebrities had an enjoyable day out at the 5th annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic. Anna Faris, Christina Hendricks, Rosario Dawson, Rashida Jones, as well as Tony Goldwyn, Scott Foley and Jesse Tyler Ferguson were spotted at the event.

The BFI London Film Festival was held in the English capital city, with Mia Wasikowska in town to promote her new film Madame Bovary, based on the famous French novel by Gustave Flaubert. Reese Witherspoon also attended the premiere of her new film Wild at the event, and British actors Damien Lewis, Dominic West, and Kit Harington attended their respective film premieres.
