The Expendables 3 London World Premiere
The premiere of the third installment of the popular Expendables franchise, The Expendables 3 was held in London at Leicester Square, and the complete cast of action film veterans starring in the movie were on hand to wow thousands of fans at the event.
Sylvester Stallone was joined on the red carpet by his wife and three daughters, while Jason Statham, Wesley Snipes, Kellan Lutz, Antonio Banderas, Tamara Ecclestone, April Pearson, Kimberly Garner, Olivia Inge, Emma Miller, Vinnie Jones and Jack Whitehall also attended the event. Wesley Snipes spoke to Fashion One about his involvement in the film: “There are only a few people in the world who get to experience this. I’m blessed and honored to be a part of it, so I’m going to enjoy it while it lasts,” he quipped.
Kellan Lutz, who became popular due to the Twilight movie series, also shared his views: “Every single second of every minute of every hour I’m just...you make goals for yourself as an actor and when you actually achieve them, you just have to pinch yourself because it’s amazing,” he said, revealing how much he enjoyed making the film. “To individually work with each one of these guys would be impossible. Who knows how long they’ll be acting for? But to do it all collectively in one movie, in one ensemble, and to have scenes with each and every one of them, having us all in a helicopter, it will never happen again, so I’m very appreciative of that and I’ll always remember this movie.”
Antonio Banderas showed his appreciation for his fans, saying, “These people are what gave us our salaries, our fame, everything that we are, so I like to attend [premieres] as much as possible.”
