Fashion Field Trip: ISSUE

You will always be guaranteed the opulence, extravaganza and all things colourful when it comes to Issue. This AW13, Issue presents us with another collection filled with fierceness, titled “Spices”. The main inspirations came from King Rama II of Kingdom of Thailand and the Diwali Festival of lights (a traditional Hindu festivals).

The Issue show was chronicled more similar to a brand presentation as all the models are presented at the same time. He has transformed his ideas and Thai cultures seamlessly into his prints, jewelry, and embellishments without compromising on his signature style of maintaining delicacy of fabrics and perfect stitch work. The collection exhibits bright colours from tangerine orange contrasted with yellow, bright blue juxtaposed with mint green along with a knitted scarf perfect for the casual winter look. The collection progresses to short dresses with diamanté beads to long dramatic evening gowns decorated with metallic beetle wings. Stunning. It was an awe-inspiring finish to the 2013 Fashion Field Trip.
