Marvel Universe Live! World Premiere in New York



The world premiere of Marvel Universe Live! at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York proved to be a star-studded red carpet event.

Katie Holmes was in attendance, looking as chic as ever, and got very hands-on with glitter and markers as she got involved in arts and crafts with the kids. “This is a really exciting night! They’re doing ten shows here and it’s really exciting and wonderful for kids, so I wanted to be a part of it,” she told Fashion One.

Model Irina Pantaeva, Boston Celtics star Rajon Rondo, and Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin, also made an appearance, as did 2014’s Miss Teen USA and Miss USA.

The premise of the show is an original story that stars more than 25 Marvel characters on an epic journey. Loki is up to his old tricks, destroying the universe and the Earth with it, as he attempts to clone the powers of the Cosmic Cube—a source of great power in the Marvel universe. A number of Marvel’s most famous superheroes team up to stop him, including the Avengers, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, and Thor himself—and encounter some of Marvel’s most fearsome villains on their journey to save the world.
