Natasha Poly for Vogue Turkey September 2012

Russian beauty, Natasha Poly, starred as the cover girl for Vogue Turkey’s September 2012 issue. Cuneyt Akeroglu photographed Poly in fall ready apparel, styled by Ece Sukan. Akeroglu actually captured two editorials for the issue, one on-location and the other featuring portraits of Poly. The first spread included collection pieces from the fashion houses, Gucci, Prada, Balmain, and Fendi. Ensembles took on monochromatic color palettes, layered in shades of brown, maroon, and black. Intricately embellished tunics and voluminous fur coats were editorial stunners. Leather covered everything from knee-high boots to capes, jackets, and full-length skirts. The massive stone background made for an ideal backdrop to Poly’s Viking warrior-esque wardrobe. Akeroglu’s other shoot was a bit more edgy. Poly adorned sexy, sheer blouses, off-the-shoulder tunics, and oversized pendants. The seductive ensembles were paired with smoky eyes and messy waves.
