Online shoppers rejoice, Zalora is now offering same-day shipping to five Asian countries including Singapore. Zalora is a Singaporean-based online shopping destination that caters to a primarily Asian audience. By offering this new system, Zalora gains a serious edge over its competitors. The online retail hub will become the first site in the Asian region to offer same-day shipping.

Combining retail therapy with instant gratification is a smart business move. In a quote from The Malaysian Insider Michele Ferrario, the regional managing director, said “With the new service, we are further committing ourselves to customers who lead busy lives. It also comes with other customer-centric services such as free shipping for orders over a certain amount, self-collection and cash on delivery.”

Ferrario went on to say, “The service will be introduced first in Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam before extending it to the entire South East Asia region by 2015." Now, customers in these regions only need to wait a day to try-on their purchase.
